This itinerary was designed for travellers interested in having a cultural experience added to their safari trip. Travellers will have the opportunity of a lifetime to meet the San people, also known as Bushmen, thought to have been the first inhabitants of Botswana and South Africa. A walk in the bush with these skilful hunters, an evening around the fire listening to traditional stories and watching sacred dances will definitely bring to a memorable ending to the experience of exploring the vastness of Kalahari
Planet Safari guide will meet you at Maun international airport and transfer you to Sitatunga camp, where you can unpack, shower and relax. Afternoon scenic flight over the Okavango Delta can be arranged on request.

After breakfast we pack up and make our way to Central Kalahari Game Reserve, arrive at Matswere gate where we enter the reserve and drive towards the campsite.

Early morning and afternoon drives in the valley in search of the game. Relax in camp in the mid-day, time to shower, relax. Afternoon drive from 15:00hrs till sunset, a beautiful sundowner on valley.

After a great morning game drive, our route takes us to Passarge valley for two nights . Passarge valley is set in the north west of CKGR- all these valleys are old fossil river beds.

Morning and afternoon game drives exploring all this valleys should reveal more wildlife. This area is home to a number of kalahari animals such as springboks, gemsbok, red hartebeest, lions and hyenas.

After breakfast we pack up and our drive takes on a scenic route to Motopi camp. Lunch enroute! Arrive in camp in time for shower before dinner is saved.

Morning and afternoon drives just searching for wildlife around Motopi should again reveal more of this desert dwellers such as springboks, gemsbok etc.

Early start, pack up and make our way out of Central Kalahari Game Reserve through Tsau gate and head towards D'kar(Dqaeqare bushman lodge).
Arrive in time to shower before dinner is saved and after dinner is time for stories and more..
Overnight Qdaeqare san lodge(chalet)
After breakfast is time to go for a great bushwalk with the legends before packing up and drive back to Maun. The program of the day will depend more on your time and flights. A transfer to the airport will be arranged on this day or following morning.
